A boot, a low leather shoe and a moulded clog create different outlines with the same clothes. Consider the height of the upper, the shape of the toe and the space your trouser hem needs. A collaboration can add colour or texture, but the underlying construction remains important when comparing fit and care.
Keep the useful details
Store the identifying information and follow the maker’s care instructions for the particular materials. When comparing an item, use clear photographs and a specific description of its condition. A familiar name alone does not establish the edition, provenance or suitability for your intended use.
